Introduction to the "Steer Your Future" Scholarship Program
The 2025 “Steer Your Future” Scholarship Program, launched by Keith Law Group, focuses on combating drinking and driving among teenagers in Arkansas.
This issue is a significant concern, as Arkansas the 7th worst state for drunk driving, with nearly 6 fatal drunk driving accidents per 100,000 residents.
Through this scholarship, we invite local students to use their creativity and digital skills to raise awareness of the dangers of drinking and driving. The goal is to empower young people to take action and encourage their peers to adopt safer driving habits.
Objective:
The goal of the 2025 scholarship program is to get students talking about the dangers of drinking and driving and inspire them to spread the message to their peers.
By having students create original digital content, we hope to encourage safer driving habits and raise awareness in a way that connects with young people. Our aim is for the winning content to resonate with students and help promote a culture of responsible driving throughout Arkansas.
Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for the Steer Your Future Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be an Arkansas resident.
- Be currently enrolled or planning to enroll as a full-time student at an accredited college, university, or trade school in the United States.
- Submit an essay, video, or other creative materials on a specific topic related to the scholarship’s theme.

For the 2025 “Steer Your Future” Scholarship Program, we invite Arkansas students to create original, creative content highlighting the dangers of drinking and driving.
The goal is to raise awareness about this important issue and encourage safer driving habits among young people.
The content should be impactful, engaging, and resonate with your peers. We are looking for creative ways to communicate the risks of drinking and driving, while potentially offering solutions or actions to help combat the issue.
There are no strict guidelines—what matters most is the creativity, quality, and impact of the content you create. Whether through a video, artwork, or another form of media, we want to see content that stands out and makes a real difference in spreading the message of safe driving.

Submission Guidelines:
Participants are invited to create an original piece of digital content that highlights the dangers of drinking and driving and proposes innovative solutions or campaigns to address this issue statewide.
The content can be in various formats, including but not limited to:
- Videos or Short Films
- Essays or Short Stories (750)
- Digital Artwork or Infographics
- Interactive Websites or Mobile Applications
- Original Music Compositions
Judging Criteria:
Submissions will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Creativity and Originality: The uniqueness and inventiveness of the concept and execution.
- Relevance and Impact: The effectiveness in conveying the message and the potential to influence behavior and attitudes towards safe driving.
- Quality of Presentation: The professionalism and polish of the final product.
- Research and Accuracy: The factual correctness and depth of the content.
- Engagement and Reach: The ability to captivate the audience and inspire action.
Awards:
- The “Steer Your Future” Scholarship winner will be awarded a $2,000 scholarship.
- The winning submission will be featured on Keith Law Group’s website and social media platforms — gaining statewide recognition.
