Sean Keith, a drug and device injury lawyer, filed over 135 transvaginal mesh lawsuits on behalf of clients in Arkansas and Oklahoma.   Sean works with clients throughout the State of Arkansas and has also been referred clients from other attorneys across the country.  Sean was a part of the national plaintiff’s committee serving on the regulatory and privilege log committees for the J&J/Ethicon multi-district litigation.  He also conducted depositions of key employees of J&J/Ethicon.

He is currently handling six opt out cases on behalf of clients in Little Rock, Northwest Arkansas and Oklahoma City. In addition to the MDL in West Virginia, there have also been cases filed in New Jersey and California state court and verdicts in those cases have been entered.

In July 2012, a California jury entered a judgment against Bard in a lawsuit filed by Christine Scott for $5.5 million after she underwent nine revision surgeries after its Avaulta Plus mesh product.

In February 2013, Linda Gross won $11.11 million in her lawsuit against Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon brand over its Prolift vaginal mesh product. Gross had 18 surgeries.   The New Jersey jury found that J&J failed to warn patients and doctors about the risks of its mesh products and made fraudulent misrepresentations.

Sean emphasized:  “The deadline for filing these cases has passed for many of these cases at this point.”  However if you have recently learned that your injuries have been as a result of either a bladder sling or a pelvic organ pop kit and you had surgery to repair it, contact us for a free evaluation.
